This is a very unique and compact Ludlum bench-top counter/scaler unit. These can be linked together into a larger system if desired. They have been tested, documented.

This unit is a small bench-top scaler/counter with front-panel adjustable settings for high voltage, gain, threshold, and window control. It is useful for lab, detector testing, probe setup, counting applications, and integration into custom data systems.

Testing and Documentation

This unit has been tested and adjusted using a factory calibrated Ludlum Model 500 pulser following the procedure outlined in the Ludlum manual.

Included with the meter:

• 12 VDC wall power supply
• Copy of the Ludlum Model 440-8 factory manual
• Tech by MBF test / calibration documentation
• Documentation showing verification against a calibrated Ludlum Model 500 pulser

The Ludlum 500 used for testing has current factory calibration. This is an electronic verification of meter response using a pulser.

Connector Note

This unit currently has a BNC detector connector installed.

The connector can be changed at the time of purchase for an additional charge if a different connector type is needed. Please contact me before purchase for a quote and to confirm additional time required for the connector swap.

Condition

This is a used Ludlum instrument. The pictures are representative of what you will receive. All of the units on offer are in similar condition to this one. Your unit may differ slightly. It may show normal cosmetic wear from previous use, storage, and handling, including scratches, marks, worn paint, or minor labeling residue. Please review the photos closely.

The unit shown has been powered, tested, adjusted, and verified for proper electronic response. All of this will be clearly documented in the pack of information specific to the meter you will receive.
