This is a fully functional lab grade Ludlum bench top counter. It has been gone through, tested, documented, and is ready to be put to work. This is a proven, dependable radiation measurement instrument ready for daily use with a compatible detector probe and cable.

DC Input Configuration Update

This unit was not equipped with an internal battery. It was previously configured for a 10V to 20V DC input.

Due to the age and condition of the external DC input cord, that cord has been completely removed and the internal wiring has been properly secured inside the unit.

• No degraded external DC input cord remains attached
• Internal wiring has been secured to prevent future issues
• Voltage board is still present inside the unit
• The DC input feature may be able to be reenabled in the future if desired
• Unit is intended to be operated from standard external power as supplied

Optional Probes, Cables, and Probe Clips

Compatible Ludlum probes, probe cables, and stainless steel probe clips may be available as a separate purchase.

When a compatible probe is purchased at the same time as a meter:

• The meter and probe will be verified and tested together before shipping
• One compatible probe cable will be included per meter, up to the number of probes purchased, max 2 per meter
• Stainless steel probe clip mounting can be added to the meter for the purchased probe or probes
• The number of probes that can be mounted to one meter is limited by available space, typically up to 2 probes

Simple Examples

• 1 meter with 1 probe purchased: 1 cable included and probe clip mounting added for that probe
• 1 meter with 2 probes purchased: 1 cable included and clip mounting added for both probes, if space allows
• 5 meters with 2 probes purchased: 2 cables included and 2 clips added because only 2 probes were purchased
• 5 meters with 5 probes purchased: 5 cables included and 5 clips added, one for each meter and probe set

1 Year Functional Guarantee

This instrument includes a 1 year functional guarantee from the date of delivery.

The guarantee covers the meter being functional and ready to use as described. It does not cover damage from abuse, misuse, dropping, improper storage, corrosion, unauthorized repairs, tampering, modification, or damage caused by connecting incompatible equipment.

This is a tested, documented, lab grade Ludlum Model 177-10 bench top counter that is ready to go directly into service with the proper compatible probe and cable.
