You simply remove the old seal and clean the cavity and install this replacement. If you remove the handle, it may be easier to access the groove on the lid. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0;\"\u003eThis will fit all newer ludlum units with this style lid.
